Obituary

Lois Belle (Vandeveer) Feder, 79 of De Pere passed away peacefully on Saturday morning February 20, 2010 after a short illness. She was born March 21, 1930 in Milwaukee to the late Harley and Regina (Harl) Vandeveer. Lois Belle was a 1948 graduate of De Pere High School, and in 1950 she graduated from Northwest Institute of Medical Technology. In 1950 she married Roger Stanley, and he preceded her in death. In 1987 she married James Feder, and he also preceded her in death. Lois Belle had worked 19 years at Schneider National. She enjoyed family activates, traveling, playing Bridge, reading, knitting, and her volunteer work. Lois Belle was a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital, and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of De Pere, the Lois Club, and numerous Bridge Clubs. She is survived by her children; Mike (Brenda) Stanley, Teri (Ken) Steinberger, and Van (Diane) Stanley. She is further survived by her grandchildren; Chris (Lisa), Tim, David, Becky, Amie, and Tony, as well as her great grandchildren; Arkane, Zoe, and Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her son Daniel, and three sisters; Joyce V. Ambrose, Carol Vandeveer, and Emma Jean Cox. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME FROM 2 6:30PM Tuesday February 23, 2010. A funeral service honoring Lois Belle Feder's life will be held at 4pm with Reverend Doctor Ted Tromble Officiating.
