Lois M. Shwery, 87, of De Pere, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014 at a local nursing home. The daughter of the late George and Lilas (Paine) Goggins was born May 3, 1926. She married Roy P. Shwery in Marshfield and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2010, as did her son Paul Shwery on July 18, 2010. Lois worked at St. Norbert College for many years, most recently in the International Center. Following her retirement, she spent her years pursuing her interests. She and Roy were devout Catholics and worshipped often at St. Norbert Abbey. Her family includes her daughter, Catherine (Joe) Stenzel, two grandchildren, Alison and Dane Shwery, nieces, Sandi (Emil) Radeztsky, Vicki (James) Bosanny, Lisa (Mike) Luthi, nephew, Gary (Cindy) Hughes. Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, WI from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, March 17, 2014. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am Tuesday at Old St. Joe's Church, the Heart of St. Norbert College Campus until time of service.
