Lyn M. (Ward) Dashner, passed away after a 16-month battle from a second round of Breast Cancer. Formerly known as "Linda", daughter of the late George A. and Audrey L. (VanDenak) Ward, was born September 29, 1950, in Green Bay. She married James "Jim" Dashner on December 5, 1981. Lyn spent her working years helping people, first as an investment Officer in Banking, then 23 years as a Real Estate Broker in the Green Bay market. She taught Real Estate and Business classes at NWTC. Lyn spent her final 5 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Bank Mutual. She spent many years singing, teaching, and helping on committees at her church, Our Lady of Lourdes. Lyn enjoyed cooking, entertaining, sewing and her many crafts. Lyn was preceded in death by her mother and father Audrey and George Ward, mother, and father-in-law Arlene (Heezen) and Perry Dashner, as well as her brother-in-law Michael Dashner. She is survived by her husband Jim and son Michael, a brother Jerry Ward and sister-in-law Madly Tissembaum. Nephew Arthur (Amy) Ward and their sons Jonah and Elliot. Niece Claire (Nick) Molen, sister-in-law Donna Blue (Dashner), her nephew Andy (Amy) Dashner and their daughters Brooklyn and Alyssa, and son Luke. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family 1307 Lourdes Ave. De Pere on Friday, December 17, 2021, after 9:00AM, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere is assisting the family with arrangements.
