Mindimoye, 79, of Oneida passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday April 2, 2014. She was born in Red Lake, Minnesota on May 6, 1934 to the late Peter and Mary (Cornelius) Clark. Mindimoye loved her community more than anything, and each action she took was for the betterment of the Oneida people. She was truly a tireless advocate for them. She was very proud of her 30 plus years of sobriety. Mindimoye cherished her friendships, and had many longtime friends; just to name a few; Marj Stevens, Marge Funmaker, Simon Decoteau, the late Darlene Neconish, Chaz Wheelock, Sue Daniels and many more. Survivors include her daughters; Jeri Wolf, and Raeann (Arnold Summers) Skenandore, her grandchildren, Gerald, Jessica, Jade, Cheryl, Jack, Justyn, Damon, Portia, Delores, and Sophie. Great grandchildren; Katey, Deja, Kane, Otayun, Levi, Aiyana, Nevaeh, Nataun, Donald, Arial, Brandon, Natalia, Anthony, Jaelyn, Ashanti, Jackson, and her great great granddaughter Kira. Friends may call at the Oneida Longhouse after 5pm Friday, April 4, 2014 until time of service on Saturday April 5, 2014.
