Marena Annette Pamanet, 78, Oneida, passed away Saturday evening, February 19, 2022 at her home. She was born September 11, 1943 to Alfreda Smith and the late Carl Danforth. Marena attended Cramoor grade school and John Edwards High School in Port Edwards, WI. After High School she went on to earn an Associates Degree in Accounting. Marena worked for the Oneida Nation for many years as a bookkeeper. In her earlier years, Marena served as a Cub Scout Den Mother and PTA Treasurer. She was an member of Church of the Holy Apostles, Oneida. She is survived by her son Walter Wilber, her mother Alfreda Green, her sister Carole Liggins, grandchildren, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her children, Carla J. Bridges, Scott H. Skenandore, Amy Allenby, and her father Carl Danforth. Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere after 6:00PM Thursday, February 24th, with a parish prayer service at 8:00PM to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue after 9:00AM on Friday at the funeral home, until the cortege leaves for the Church of the Holy Apostles, Oneida. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM with Fr. Rodger Patience, Vicar, and Deacon Deborah Heckel officiating. Burial to follow at the parish cemetery.
