Margaret Elaine (Bowne) Baader, 85, De Pere, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. The daughter of William and Ella (Lutz) Bowne was born on July 17, 1935 in St. Charles, Illinois. In her early twenties, Margaret met Heinz Baader in Chicago and they married on July 20, 1957. Margaret and Heinz had a wonderful life together. They loved to travel and took many students on trips abroad. They shared many wonderful friendships and loved hosting parties at their home. She also loved to ski, golf and spent a lot of time tending to her gardens. Margaret was of good cheer until the very end, and is survived by her many close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Heinz; her parents, William and Ella; her siblings and other extended family members. Visitation will be held at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Proper protocol in regards to the pandemic are requested by all visitors. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Kevin DeCleene officiating. Burial will take place at De Pere Greenwood Cemetery.
