Margaret "Peggy" Ann Heitzke, 81, Cecil, formerly of De Pere, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 5, 2025. She was born December 15, 1943, to the late Ervin and Murial (DuPrey) Staevens.

On December 11, 1965, she was united in marriage to Ernie Heitzke. Peggy enjoyed planting and caring for her flower garden, and fishing.

Throughout her career, Peggy worked as a Housekeeper at West De Pere High School, Rennes Health & Rehab, and Oneida Casino. She was a painter for Medalcraft Mint as well.

She is survived by her husband Ernie, their children, Mike (Brandi) Heitzke, and Scott Heitzke. Grandchildren; Susie Heitzke, and Katie Heitzke, as well as her siblings.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Sue Heitzke, grandson Curtis Heitzke, and other family members.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00PM Friday, January 10, 2025, until time of service at 7:00PM. The burial will take place at Lawrence "Cady" Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
