Marilyn M. Daul, aged 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021. She was born in Green Bay on May 26, 1935, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lucille (Hockers) Carufel.
Marilyn married Francis Daul on July 14, 1956. She was a paper sorter for the Green Bay Press Gazette for 10 years. She enjoyed pottery, ceramics, puzzles, bingo, bird watching, and traveling. Marilyn was a very nurturing Foster Parent. She loved kids. She cared for many foster infants directly from local hospitals.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Daniel (Tereesa) Daul, David Daul, Dale (Terri) Daul, and Mary (Jim) Grutza; siblings, Elizabeth Frisque, Nancy Carufel, Kathy (Clark) LaChapella, and Sharon Carufel; 6 granchildren; 3 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Christine Daul; and many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Francis; her parents; her son Dennis Daul; and her sister, Janice Carufel.
Family and friends may gather at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, WI on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 4pm until 7 pm. Visitation will continue at 10:00AM at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 220 S Michigan St, De Pere. The Mass of a Christian burial will begin at 11:00AM with Fr. Mike Ingold officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in De Pere.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Sage Meadows staff that cared for Marilyn while she was there.
