Marilyn Jean Funk, 78, Green Bay, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was born November 12, 1942, to the late Arthur and Lillian (Summers) Johnson. On January 14, 1966, she married Charles Funk Sr.
After the passing of her husband Charles, Marilyn went to work at the Oneida Casino until her retirement. She enjoyed collecting angels, going to the casino, and fishing, but above all it was time with family that meant the most to her.
She is survived by her children; Lisa Funk, Ginger Funk, Charles Funk Jr., Charity (Jason) Funk – Cornelius, as well as 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her best friend KC, and two K9 companions Snookie, and Rocky. Her siblings: Karla (Keith) Dugan, Lawrence (Linda) Johnson, Raymond (Joyce) Johnson, and nieces and nephews further survive.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, and her siblings, Eugene, Arthur "Snookie", and Melvin.
Friends may call after 3:00PM Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, until time of service at 7:00PM. Burial will take place Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Neopit.
