Marilyn J. Johnson, 63, of Oneida, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away on Thursday morning, January 10, 2013. The daughter of the late Coleman and Emily (Christjohn) Schwamp was born on October 30, 1949 in Green Bay. She married Frederick Johnson on September 23, 1967 in Milwaukee. Marilyn worked at Allen-Bradley in Milwaukee and retired in 2004, when she and Fred moved to South Branch, and then to Oneida. Survivors include her husband, Frederick, two daughters, Deborah Johnson and Denise Johnson, her grandchildren, James Pelton, Benjamin Evans, Coleman Johnson and her other kids, David (Rae) Skenandore, Laura (Mark) Link, Chris Skenandore (special friend, Randy Powless), John Fink, two brothers, Robert (Judi) Christjohn and Tony Skenandore (Mary), as well as many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lois Jean Rio. Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday January 11, 2013 (Today). Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Following the services, the funeral procession will go to the Oneida Nation Tribal Cemetery for burial with lunch to follow.
