Marilyn M. Jourdan, 59, Seymour, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 4, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born May 24, 1955 to the late Norbert and Susan (Cooper) Jourdan Sr. Marilyn was a 1975 graduate of Pulaski High School and then went on to earn her Masters Degree from Silver Lake College. She had been employed by the Oneida Tribe for 27 years. Marilyn enjoyed crafts, traveling, and "listening to old country music". Her greatest enjoyment came by spending time with her family.
She is survived by her "Kids"; Phillip Orley, Susan Orley, "grandkids" Gavin, and Dorian, as well as her cat Mikey, and other pets. Marilyn is further survived by her siblings, Vicki Jourdan, Tom Jourdan, Mike (Kay) Jourdan, Betty Orley, and Dan (Tina) Jourdan. Nieces and nephews, Mikey (Alyssa) Jourdan, Angie (Clyde) Berna, Joseph Jourdan, Daniel, Brandon, Jeremiah, Martina, Selena, Charmaine (Jesse) Williquette, Cherie (John) Koester, Jennifer (Kevin) Brown, and Johnny (Ida)Wierzchowski. as well as great nieces and nephews, and her step father Bill. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Norbert Jr., and two sisters, Donna and Mary.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 5 8pm Monday September 8, 2014. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 6:30pm followed by a prayer service at 7pm. Visitation will continue after 9am Tuesday at the Oneida United Methodist Church, until time of service at 11am with Pastor Candace Ascher officiating.
