Marilyn Ann Koltz, 80, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, August 17, 2023. She was born October 25, 1942, to the late Clarence and Mary (Baeten) Geurts.
Marilyn graduated from Nicolet High School in 1960 and attended UW Whitewater from 1960 – 1961. On February 3, 1962, she was united in marriage to Don Koltz.
Marilyn was the light and love of Don's life for 61 blessed years. Marilyn loved spending time in the kitchen, baking specialty desserts and sharing stories from her childhood, and many of those stories sparked a special song. She was a selflessly devoted wife, mother and grandmother who never missed a special family event. She always looked forward to taking trips with her Aunt Donna, to watch musicals and shows.
She is survived by her loving husband Don, seven children: Lisa (Jim) Servia, Laurie Koltz, Tina Stacy, Tim Koltz, Steve (Pam) Koltz, Scott (Dawn) Koltz, and Mary (Ross) Barrette.
Grandchildren; Kristin Tedeschi, Anthony (Sara) Tedeschi, Rachel (Kyle) Van Beek, Andrew Koltz, Collin Koltz, Ryan Koltz, Leah Stacy, Malin Barrette, Kamryn Barrette, and great grandson Benjamin Van Beek.
Marilyn is also survived by her siblings; Jerome (Barb) Geurts, Eugene Geurts, Glenn (Carol) Geurts, Chuck (Mary) Geurts, Daniel Geurts, Roy (Sue) Geurts, Debbie (Scott) Stimart, Jeff (Julie) Geurts, as well as her Aunt Donna Bostedt, Don's family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere, from 9:00AM Tuesday, August 22, 2023, until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
