Marion C. Gerarden, 88, of Green Bay, died Sunday August 30, 2009 at a local hospital. Marion was born August 30, 1921 in De Pere, Wisconsin, and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Amy (Cashman) Johnson. She married George Gerarden on December 21, 1941 and he preceded her in death on October 16, 1956. Marion was a member of Nativity Parish, Ashwaubenon, long time volunteer at Bellin Hospital and the Senior Center. She worked at Paper Converting Company for over 37 years. She loved traveling, especially to the Coasts where she would walk the beach. Survived by her daughters, Kathryn Gerarden, Hickory, NC, Diane (Bob) Bangert, Green Bay, her granddaughter, Amy (Ben) Rank, and a great-grandson due in three weeks. She is also survived by other family and friends from Wisconsin and her home in California where she lived for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers Harold Johnson, Clarence Johnson, and sister Margaret Gerarden. Friends and family may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N.
