Marjorie Barrette, 82, of De Pere, went to her Eternal Reward following a lengthy illness Friday November 14, 2014 at home. The daughter of the late Harvey and Clara (Arendt) Ferry was born August 20, 1932 in Luxemburg. Marge graduated from Luxemburg High School. She married Robert Barrette on September 9, 1953 in Sugarbush, and they left the next day for Charlestown, SC, where Bob served in the U.S. Navy. The couple celebrated sixty one years of marriage.
Mrs. Barrette was a dedicated professional at St. Norbert College for over forty years. She enjoyed her years at the College and the many friends and associates over the years. Marge attended Mass daily at St. Norbert Abbey. She was a loving wife, Mom and Grandma and will be sadly missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include her loving and dedicated husband, Bob, two children, Jim (Diane) Barrette, Jerry (Nancy) Barrette, four grandchildren, Ross, Christopher, Alyssa and Ryan, one brother, Roland (Shirley) Ferry, many nieces, nephews and cousins, including her 'Angels", Cindy and Lily as well as Ginny. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Joseph and Bob and a sister-in-law, Charlotte.
Family and friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, De Pere from 9:00 to 10:30 am on Monday November 17, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 with Fr.
