Obituary

Marjorie Lana (Maki) Staszak, 82, of De Pere died February 14, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born October 23, 1932 in Zim, Minnesota to Lempi and Matthew Maki. She graduated high school in Cherry, Minnesota in 1951. Marjorie married Norbert Staszak on April 9, 1955. Her greatest love was spending time with her granddaughters and new great-granddaughter Ava. She was an avid reader and an accomplished still life painter, especially of landscapes. Marge loyally supported the Humane Society and had a soft spot for all animals. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Norbert, and children Timothy (Mary) Staszak, and Julie (David) Christensen. Granddaughters; Melissa (Mitchell) Swink, Dr. Jessica (Kannan) Shanmugasundaram, Laura, Elizabeth, and Ava. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Florence (Jaspar) Bonacci, and Beatrice (Arvid) Koivisto, her brother Harold and in-laws Michael and Nancy Staszak, Roman and Marilyn Staszak, Margie Staszak, and Jack Pollar. Friends and family may call after 11am Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, Wi.
