Mark Quigley, 73, of De Pere, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday February 23, 2019 at a local hospital with family by his side. The son of the late Norbert and Kathleen (O'Connor) was born in Green Bay on January 8, 1946. Mark was a graduate of Premontre High School, Class of 1964. He began his professional career with the H.C. Prange Company. From there Mark became Director of the New Hope Center in Chilton and was very proud of his work. Mark went on to own and operate Residential Services with his son, Chris. In his retirement years, Mark worked with his daughter, Jennifer, managing commercial properties for Smet Properties. Mark's love of the relationships he shared with everyone he met brought him great joy in life. His Irish personality shined through making everyone feel like family. Mark had a great sense of humor giving nicknames to many people that he was close to. He was a devoted family man and cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed family dinners and vacations with the family in Florida. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Scott) Smet, Jennifer and Chris's mother, Ann, daughter-in-law, Melissa Quigley, grandchildren, Ben and Sam Smet, and Taylor and Declan Quigley, sisters-in-law Edda Quigley and Ruth Quigley, goddaughters Paula Halbrook and Tina Quigley, many nieces and nephews. Mark was preceeded in death by his son, Christopher, his parents, and his brothers Tim and Paul Quigley. Family and friends may call at Old St. Joe's Catholic Church on St. Norbert College Campus after 3:00 pm on Friday, March 1, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:00 pm Friday at the church with Father Peter Ambting, O. Praem., officiating. Inurnment in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
