Marshall Wilbert Enderby passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Marshall was born in De Pere, WI on February 26, 1931 to Wilbert and Marie (Goldschmidt) Enderby. He attended Nicolet High School, after which he became a proud member of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War and earning the rank of Aviation Mechanic's Mate (Engine Mechanic) Petty Officer 3rd Class. He retired from Morning Glory Dairy and was a member of his local Teamsters Union. Marshall loved to golf, bowl, hunt, fish, camp and travel. He was past president of the American Legion . A member of Lions Club International he was awarded the De Pere Lions Presidential Award 2000-01, and served as Lion District 27 President 1999 to 2001. He was named 1996-97 Lion of the Year.
He met his beloved wife Barbara (Gussert) at a local baseball game, and it was a home run! They were married on June 26, 1954 and spent the next sixty-five years growing a family and making memories together. Marshall was blessed with five children: Judith (Thomson), Cynthia (John) Schumerth, John (Roberta) Enderby, Michael Enderby, Timothy (Carol) Enderby, and eleven grandchildren: Jeremy (Christy), Holly (Thomas Fey) Thomson; Danielle, David (Stefani Stilen, fiancée)Schumerth; Martha (James Heaney), Anthony, Samuel Enderby; Michelle Enderby-Galindo, Russell Enderby; Phillip, Katherine Enderby, and six great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother Glen, brother- and sister-in-law Ace and Carol Enderby, sister –in-law Mary Jo Gussert, brother- and sister-in law Tom and Mary Ann Gussert. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Marie Enderby, In-Laws Antone and Marie Gussert, brother and sister-in-law Ralph (Laverne) Enderby, Sister- and brother -in-law Mary (Jiggs) Cady, sister Luella Van Enkenvort, brother-in-law Donald Gussert, sister-in-law Tureko Enderby, Niece Pam (Gussert) Bowers, and Nephews Jody and Bruce Enderby.
