Mary Ann Blackburn, 69, Green Bay, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at a local hospital. She was born September 9, 1946 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Kaveny) O'Meara. On December 27, 1969 in Aurora, IL she married John Blackburn.
Mary Ann graduated from Marquette University in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was employed by the De Pere and Brown County Health Depts. and was heavily involved in Immunization Clinics and maternal and child health.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family and enjoyed quilting.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband John Blackburn; sons: Gregory (Graciella) Blackburn and Daniel (Jody) Blackburn; Granddaughter Eleanor Blackburn; brother Daniel (Charles Martin) O'Meara; and brother-in-law Bill (Carol) Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eleanor O'Meara; and father and mother-in-law William and Dorothy Blackburn.
Family and friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Ave, De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:00 PM with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem. officiating. In Lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to NEW Community Clinic in Mary Ann's name.
