Mary Ann K. Carter, 71, Allouez, passed away February 22, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born October 28, 1944 in Green Bay to the late Elmer and Eleanor (Burke) Wiericks. Mary Ann graduated from Casco High School.
After 20 years of being a stay at home mother of five children, she reinvented herself by attending NWTI for marketing and earning her real estate license. She enjoyed her career as a realtor until recently retiring from Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group.
Creativity coursed throughout Mary Ann's veins, but her true talents were revealed when she began her journey with her camera. Her love of family, both past and present, shone through as she captured a moment in time to tell the stories of those she loved.
Mary Ann will be deeply missed by her children, Michaeleen (Michael) Curtin, Kellie (Tom) Curtin, Shawn Carter, Brian (Kim) Carter and Colleen (Craig) Lamers; her grandchildren, Shannon, Connor, Braedon, and Ryan Curtin, Riley and Liam Curtin, Kincaid Carter, and Hailey and Gavin Lamers. Mary Ann is further survived by her siblings, Finney (Jan) Wiericks and Mike (Sally) Wierichs.
