Mary E. Manders, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Mary was born on September 2, 1941 to the late Francis and Elizabeth (Mooren) Willems. She was always a woman that placed great value on her family. Growing up being the oldest of ten children, she began helping her mother raise her siblings at age 16 when her father passed away. Her most treasured time was spent with her family, especially watching her grandchildren or attending their events. Her greatest quality was that she was always able to find the best in everyone. Mary is survived by her children: Julie (Bill) Straveler and Gary (Tracy) Manders; grandchildren: Corey (Genevieve) Fritsch, Shelby (Brandon) Guendel, Bryson Straveler, Jordan Manders, and Graham Manders; and great-grandchild, Ezra Fritsch. She is further survived by siblings: Robert (Karen) Willems, Rose Marquis, Gerald (MaryAnn) Willems, Jane (Robert) Van Den Heuvel, Michael (Julie) Willems, Dale Willems, Paul (Carol) Willems, Ruth (Mark) Bildings, and Henry (Patti) Willems; the entire Manders family; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents, brother-in-law, Bob Marquis, as well as other extended family members. There will be a time of visitation held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere.
