Ms. Mary F. Wakup
Ms. Wakup, 60, Green Bay passed away quietly at Unity's Jack and Engrid Meng Center January 21, 2009. The daughter of Neville (Bud) Lade and the late Bernice (Bunny) Lade was born in Green Bay, WI. February 4, 1948. Mary was formerly married to Grant Begotka and widowed by Scott Wakup.
She was a loving and warm-hearted soul who loved her family, friends, co-workers, and animals. She was the Mother of two, a Grandmother to five children, and a Great-Grandmother to one child.
Her survivors include: Son, James Begotka and his wife, Gayle; Daughter, Suzanne Terrien, and her husband Tom. Father, Neville (Bud) Lade; two brothers, Tim and Scott Lade; a sister, Susan Lade; and sisters-in-law, Lynn and Joanne Lade. Mary's grandchildren are: Marie and Nicole Hoida, Felicia Terrien; and Grace and Sara Begotka. Her Great-Grandson is Dezmere.
She was preceded in death by one Granddaughter, Monica Hoida, her Mother, Bernice (Bunny) Lade, and her husband, Scott Wakup.
Family and Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Dr. De Pere from 4 6pm Friday, January 23, 2009, with a parish prayer service at 4pm. Visitation will continue after 9:30am Saturday at the church until the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem and Deacon Michael VanderBloomen officiating. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations to a memorial fund will be established to honor Mary's loving nature.
