Obituary

Mee-Mingwa Rain Phillips, 19, passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2024 in Green Bay, WI. She was born on April 19, 2005 in Fond Du Lac, WI to Andrew Phillips and Jamie Franklin. She attended Green Bay Southwest High School. She was a member of the Potawatomi and Oneida Tribes.

She was loving, cheerful, carefree, and always happy. Mee Mee was a very generous, huggable, and loveable young lady. She loved working with her elders, and always enjoyed their company. She was always singing and dancing. Mee Mee was known to many as the "dancing queen". She loved her cars and trucks, and going to car meets around the state.

Mee Mee was a social butterfly and could talk to anyone; everyone was her bestie. She had a lot of love to share. Once you met her, you would never forget her. People were drawn to her bubbly energy. She knew how to make everyone feel like they were #1. She loved spoiling everyone with Starbucks or Papa Johns. She loved doing her hair and makeup and would not leave the house without a full face, even if it took three hours. She would spend hours doing her makeup, even just for fun. Even though she loved makeup, she was naturally beautiful. She had a very unique laugh, if you heard it, you knew it was Mee Mee.

Her favorite musicians are Bad Bunny and The Weekend. She went to as many concerts as she could for them and had a ton of their merchandise which she collected. Her cars were themed to match both artists. She also collected Hot Wheels collectable cars. She enjoyed listening to records and had them on the walls in her room.

Mee Mee has a dog named Enzo, and a hedgehog named Felipe, whom she loved very much. She always called them her kids. She always loved spending time with her big family, especially her grandma.

Mee Mee is survived by her parents, her siblings, Shawn Mendoza, Shavon Mendoza, Romeo Franklin, Sabrina Molina, Richard Sommers, Sonya Sommers, Maria Sommers, Chella Franklin, Ariana Alvarez, Jessi Franklin, Adriann Phillips, Adrienne Phillips, Star Phillips, Autumn Phillips, Andi Phillips, Amayah Phillips, her maternal grandmother Lois Franklin and her Tia Sonya Franklin. She is also survived by her godmother Lauren Strong and godfather Ned Daniels. She is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and her special nephew Leo.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jessie Franklin, her paternal grandparents Dorothy and D.C. Phillips, her uncles Anthony "Snoopy" Franklin, Louis Webster, her Aunty Dot Young, aunt Beverly Bird, as well as many other relatives.
