Melissa Kay Stannard, Suamico, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 27, 2020. She was born December 16, 1967 to Nancy (Flath) and the late Jerome Stannard. Melissa graduated from Escanaba High School. Melissa's favorite thing to do, was to spend time with her grandchildren. She loved to go for rides on the motorcycle, collect purses and shop. Melissa had a passion for cooking for family and loved ones, and always had more than enough. Nobody she met was a stranger and all were welcomed into her home. She is survived by her children; Cory (Lindsey) Caron, Brittney (Codie Cyr) Caron, Samuel Ribarchek, as well as her loving grandchildren, her partner Jeff Peeters, her mother Nancy Stannard, Melissa's siblings; Dale (Linda) Stannard, Michael (Kathy) Stannard, and Julie (Glenn) Beauchamp. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, and friends. Melissa is further survived by the many other "adopted children" she held dearly in her heart. She was preceded in death by her father Jerome, and her daughter Hope Elizabeth Caron, and special friend Diane Ferry. Friends may visit after 2:00PM Saturday July 11, 2020 at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, until time of service at 4:00PM.
