Meredith Verrier, 68, Howard, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 due to unrelated complications following knee surgery. She was born December 26, 1948 to Marjorie (Garot) Schuldes and the late Kenneth Schuldes. Meredith was a 1967 graduate of West Green Bay High School. After the birth of her four daughters, she attended and graduated with a degree in nursing from N.W.T.I. On May 12, 1990, she was united in marriage to Joe Verrier. She retired from Sears in Green Bay after having worked there for 25 years. Meredith was an avid reader, loved to shop (especially for a bargain), relaxing in a hot tub, spending seven months out of the year in Florida, telling stories and jokes, the game show Jeopardy and, of course, the Green Bay Packers. Above all it was creating memories with Joe that meant the most to her.
She is survived by her husband Joe, and her three cats: Punjab, Fergus, and Pookie, as well as her children; Heather (Jim) Leckey, Alicia (Donald) Heesacker, Clarice Powers, Brianna (Jon) Powvens, Joe's children; Jay Verrier, Kerry (Carl) Ham, Shawn (Brie) Verrier, Ryan (Heather) Verrier, her fifteen grandchildren, her mother Marjorie Schuldes, siblings; Robert Schuldes Sr., Jo-Ann (Lawrence) Mikulsky, John (Sherry) Schuldes, sister-in-law Judy Buckingham, aunt Phyllis (Ron) Benz and many other extended family members. Meredith was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Schuldes, four grandchildren, her brother David Schuldes, niece Margie Schuldes, and brother-in-law Gilbert Buckingham.
Per Meredith's wishes, no service will be held at this time. Memorials in her name may be directed to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or National MS Society.
