Merle W. Kussow, 81, De Pere passed away Friday September 13, 2019. He was born February 2, 1938 to the late Elmer and Eleanor (Pagel) Kussow. On July 1, 1958 he married Jackie Kussow, he then married Joyce Calaway on June 18, 1983. Merle enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, gardening, and yard work. He also enjoyed a good game of Sheepshead and watching the Packers and Nascar. It was the time at Russ' cottage with family though that he enjoyed the most. He is survived by his children; Willie (Kay) Kussow, Ray (Janice) Kussow, Roy (Pam Jansen) Kussow, Kim (Marv VandeHey) Fox, Mark (Terrie) Kussow, Sherry (Dave) Janus, his stepchildren; Joseph (Bonnie) Calaway, Sandy (Timothy) Sprangers, Michael (Miriam) Calaway, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Merle's siblings; Virgil (Randean) Kussow, Lowell (Judy) Kussow, Jerry (Mary) Kussow, Judy (Glen) Maus, as well as numerous nieces and nephews further survive him. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, his brother Russell Kussow, a stepson Ricky Calaway and grandson Joshua Calaway.
