Merle Ann Moes, 74, Appleton, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Sunday evening, January 15, 2023 following a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of Sadie Summers and Barney Moes was born on March 16, 1948.

She is survived by her children, Marlo Moes, Troy Cornelius and Chad (Krista) Cornelius; grandchildren Estrella Morales, Duffy Cornelius, Reece Cornelius and Anna Cornelius; sister Barb (Cline) Haynie; nieces, nephews and other extended family members. She is further survived by her loving cat, Pete.

Merle was preceded in death by her parents, Sadie and Barney; granddaughter, Krystal Moes; siblings Rudolph "Rudy" Summers, Roger Summers and Joyce Summers; as well as other extended family.

At Merle's request, no services will be held. Burial will take place at Holy Apostles Cemetery in Oneida.
