Michael "Mike" Dewick, 72, De Pere, passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2018. He was born October 24, 1945 to the late Wilton "Mike" and Catherine (Calhoun) Dewick. Mike joined the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and was proud of his four and a half years of service. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. After returning from service, he worked for the Railroad for several years. He was then employed by the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller in Santa Barbara; Ca. Mike married his soulmate and the love of his life, Bonnie (Brennan) Van Rite. HE enjoyed his three days a week of Tennis at Western Racquet Club, was known for his "Dewick Shots", his famous backhand, and "The Frame Shot Winner". He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his children; Lori (Wencel) Dewick Cherney Mike (Holly), Dan (Shelley), and Eric. His grandchildren; Michael and Benjamin Dewick, and Kyla and Logan Dewick. Bonnie's children; Renee (Bob) Van Rossum, Robin (Bob) Williams, Rick (Robin) Van Rite and Rod (Jenny) Van Rite. Bonnie's grandchildren; Cory and Troy Williams, Nikki and Cody Van Rossum and Alayna and Emilie Van Rite, as well as his brother David Dewick.
