IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael L.
Hill
August 31, 1946 – December 1, 2024
Michael Lee Hill, 78, passed away at home on Sunday, December 1, 2024. He was born in Sturgeon Bay, WI on August 31, 1946 to McKenzie John and Helen Parker. He was later fostered by David Josephine (John) Skenandore.
Michael graduated from West De Pere high school and graduated 1964. He was very involved in sports, playing football, basketball and running track. He loved going to high school football games even later in life. After high school, Michael joined the Navy during the Vietnam War and served until 1967. He retired from Procter and Gamble in 1986 and started his bowling alley, Mike's Pin Inn in Greenleaf.
Michael was always there for his family. He could never say no to a family member in need and loved his family, including his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling, playing darts, golfing, and softball. He also loved going to the casino where he would often be found playing cards, bingo, and slots. Michael also loved his dogs, Noah and Harley and his cat Kitty. Michael was a proud member of the Oneida VFW. Michael was also a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers.
When he was more mobile, Michael would go to bring food to elders in the community on his golf cart. Michael always helped the VFW doing funeral honors for Oneida veterans.. Michael was famous for making his own parking spots-where he decided to go park was considered a parking spot!
Michael is survived by his daughters Michelle Hill, Marsha (Hartman) Skenandore, and April Hill; grandchildren Brittney, Mikey, Star, Marissa, Brandon, Shania, Saqora, Armani, and Ant; great grandchildren Isaiah, Justus, Elayna, Ekyrah, Jaylene, Amaiah, Jezarayah, Elijio, Rae-Lynn, Kingston, Kortez, and Baby T on the way. He further survived by his sister Delores Groth as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both sets of parents; brothers Arnold, Bernard, Artley, David (Jerry) and sister Kate; nephew JR; niece Susie; half-siblings Arline, Ruth, Arnold, Lorraine, Geraldine, Patricia. He was also preceded in death by his beloved dog Harley.
