Michael "Mike" Roffers, 58, of Green Bay, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at a local hospital. The son of the late Lester and Henrietta (Kocken) Roffers was born March 2, 1952 in Green Bay. Mike enjoyed sports, especially baseball, basketball and bowling in the Special Olympics. He worked at Curative Workshop for many years. Survivors include his siblings, Willard and Jean Roffers, Green Bay, Lee and Betty Schmit, Seymour, Jim and Ruth Ann Roffers, Green Bay, David and Claire Roffers, Green Bay, Robert and Patricia Roffers, Brillion, Harley and Nancy Roffers, Denmark, Gary and Carolyn Roffers, De Pere, Linda and Gary Halase, Freedom, and Joe Roffers, De Pere. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Henrietta and an infant sister, Mary Jo. Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Suburban Drive and Lourdes Avenue, De Pere from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with Father Tim Shillcox, O. Praem., officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
