Michael James (Mike) Stephani, age 69, of De Pere, WI died unexpectedly Saturday October 19, 2013. He was born in Freedom, WI to the late Ray and Mary (Hooyman) Stephani on June 22, 1944. Mike graduated from Abbot Pennings High School and St. Norbert College. He married his high school sweetheart, Janice (Weyers), and last month they celebrated fifty years of marriage. Mike was Treasurer of Gold Bond Ice Cream and most recently an organic farmer and owner of a small trucking company. Mike was an avid Packer fan, farmer, sheepshead player, and Corvette lover. Most important to him was his family and the good help he had in the farming and trucking business. He loved spending time relaxing at their place in Lakewood. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his son Patrick (Sandra) and their children Matthew and Andrew; his daughter Kristine Hansen. He is further survived by his brother Frank (Sally), his sisters Mary Ellen Hofacker, Rosanne Hofacker, Cathy (Richard) Green and Ann (Rick) Weyenberg. He is also survived by his wife's siblings Vernon (Maureen) Weyers, Bill (Eileen) Weyers, Jeanne (Gary) Allgeyer, Betty (Curt) Konkle and Carol (Lee) Kortz. Mike is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jim, his mother and father-in-law, Andrew and Agnes Weyers, brother-in-law Jim Weyers, and nephew Kurtis Allgeyer. Visitation will continue at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, De Pere from Noon to 1:00 pm on Wednesday.
