Michael S. Lieuwen, 62 of De Pere passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 29, 2010. He was born September 23, 1947 to John and Alvira (Nehring) Lieuwen. He was a graduate of West De Pere High School. Mike served his country during Vietnam with the 588th Maintenance Company. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a postal carrier. Mike was an avid camper, fisherman, and loved the time spent with family, especially his grandson Connor. He is survived by his children; Kim (Craig) Rosner, and Dan Lieuwen, his friend Mary Spencer, and his grandson Connor Rosner. Mike is further survived by his parents John and Alvira, his sister; Kay (Paul) Roffers, his sister in law; Rose Mary Lieuwen, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry, his sister Eileen, and his grandparents. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 4 7pm Wednesday, March 31st with a VFW service at 7pm to bring the evening to a close.
