Mildred "Millie" Baird, 87 of Plymouth, WI. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday November 22, 2011. She was born September 14, 1924 in Rockford, IL. to the late Willis and Francis (Silas) Skenandore. On September 20, 1947 she married Jesse Baird. Mildred was a Nurses Aid for many years. She was also a faithful member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Plymouth, where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She also belonged to the VFW Auxiliary in Plymouth. Mildred's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her children; Sharon Clark, Pat (Jane) Specht, Bernice Flunker, Janet Christel, Marilyn (Claude) Hochrein, Jesse Baird Jr, Debbie Schultz, Gwen (David) Medved, Rosie (Joe) Grosskreutz, and MaryAnn (Friend- Jeff) Gutowski. Mildred is further survived by her 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and her sister Minnetta (Cecil) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband and her siblings. Friends may call at St. Paul Episcopal Church 312 E. Main Street in Plymouth after 9am Saturday November 26, 2011. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am with Fr. Robert Clarke officiating burial in Holy Apostles Episcopal Cemetery, Oneida. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
