Mildred P. Butler, 95, of Oneida, formerly of Bowler, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 11, 2012 at a local nursing home. The daughter of the late Abram and Caroline (Peters) Sickles was born June 24, 1917. She married Fay Butler on January 10, 1943 and he preceded her in death on February 26, 1985. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and was always interested in helping people. Mildred enjoyed sewing, cooking and harmony singing. Mildred was a loving and caring woman who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include three sons, Gerald (Jodi) Butler, William (Judy) Butler, Arthur Hill , many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her five brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm Saturday with Pastor Mark Klaisner, officiating. Burial will be held on Monday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Matoon, WI.
