Minnie (Skenandore)Smith, 83, Oneida, passed away on Thursday December 11, 2014 at home. She was born April 20, 1931 in Oneida to the late Henry and Katherine (Cornelius) Skenandore. Minnie enjoyed puzzles, marbles, Yahtzee, crafts, going to the casino, and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed a good game of Skip Bo, and other card games. Her family and grandchildren always came first.
She is survived by her children; George (Barb) Webster, Mavis (Isael) Garcia-Mendez, Beverly (Edward) Skenandore, Roxanne (Charlie) McDowell, Larry Fields, Kathy (Domingo) Duenez, Bernice (Armando) Sifuentes, Dawn Wolk, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her brother Lawrence (Mary) Skenandore.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Arlise Fields, and two sons, Leonard Fields, and Elwood Webster. Two grandchildren, Jeremy Webster, Clayton Cornelius III, as well as her great grandchild Carlos Vega. Her siblings also preceded her, Norbert Skenandore, Clarence Skenandore, Glen Skenandore, Gordy Skenandore, and Jerry Skenandore.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 4 8pm Sunday, December 14, 2014. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 6:30pm followed by the funeral service at 7pm with Deacon Bobby Doxtator officiating. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
