Obituary

Mitchell Alan Farah passed away on January 25th, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and strength that will be remembered always. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him.

Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on July 15th, 1955, Mitch spent the majority of his adult years in Northern Virginia, where he met his beloved wife, Susan, and served a career of 38 years of federal service in printing for the IRS.

Mitch is survived by his devoted wife, Susan; two sons, Jeffrey and Jeremy (Callie); and two daughters, Jessica (Kyle) and Jamie; his granddaughter, Brooke, and his soon-to-be granddaughter, Gemma. He is also survived by his brothers, David, John (Yvonne), and Tom (Thaina); and his sisters, Kathy (Steve) Lamal, Jodi Allard (John Hiller), Bunny (Barry) Peterson, Betsy Farah (Mark Koenig), and Kelly (Todd Turriff—who loved and admired him deeply. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Jeffrey and Stevie, and his sister Judy Selner.

His life was marked by love for his family, generosity toward others, and an unwavering love for the Green Bay Packers. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and seeing them thrive. His memory will live on through the people and moments he touched along the way.

A celebration of Mitch's life will be held at a later date for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable man he was. Expressions of sympathy may be mailed to: Mrs. Susan Farah, 40267 New Rd, Aldie, VA 20105.
