Monica A. von Hoff 53 of Green Bay passed away on Saturday May 12, 2012 after a short illness. She was born on June 14, 1958 in California to Anne Lasee and the late Edward Lasee. On August 23, 1980 she married Jim von Hoff at the First United Presbyterian Church in De Pere. Monica graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay with a degree in Communications. Monica was Vice President of Insight Creative Inc. For over the past 23 years, Monica worked side by side with her husband Jim building Insight Creative Inc. into one of the leading advertising agencies in Northeastern Wisconsin. Monica was a very talented graphic designer and artist. She enjoyed making pottery on her potter's wheel, horseback riding, gardening, photography, reading, cooking, visiting with family and friends, especially the time spent with her daughter, Kathy and son-in-law, Hunter. Monica is survived by her husband Jim von Hoff, daughter Kathy, son-in-law, Hunter, Mother Anne Lasee, brother and sister-law Mark and Jean Lasee, and her sister and brother-in-law Linn and Steve Hitchcock. Jim's family further survive her, Jim's parents Stanley and Mary Anna von Hoff, his siblings, Dr. Daniel and Ann von Hoff, Dr. Bonnie von Hoff Johnson and Dr. Dale Johnson, Debbie and Tom Lang, Tim von Hoff, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere on Thursday May 17th from 4 8pm. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
