Myrtle E. Peterson, 92, of Green Bay, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at a local nursing home. The daughter of the late William and Lillian (McGlachlin) Johnson was born March 18, 1924 in Oconto. She married Walter Peterson and he preceded her in death. She worked at Bond Pickle Company and also worked at Creative Workshop for 42 years, prior to retirement. She enjoyed needlepoint, puzzles, reading and playing bingo.
Survivors include her son Robert Peterson, her daughter, Geraldine (Ben) Cornelius, grandchildren, Richard (Karen Doyen) Cornelius, Patricia (Matthew) Denny, Annette (Dan) Herrera, Zatara (Rob) Cornelius, and Angel Cornelius, nineteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary Alice Jarvey and Delores Moreno. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Alfred, Clarence, William, Burton, Marvin, Harold, Silas Johnson, Gladys Denowski, Lona Wendt, and Antone Lecomte.
