Nancy T. (Janssen) Leiterman, 82, of West De Pere passed away peacefully at Unity Hospice on January 13, 2024. Nancy was born December 8, 1941, to the late Norbert and Alice (Smith) Janssen. Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Nicolet High School. On May 13, 1961, she married David A. Leiterman at St. Joseph Church in De Pere.

Nancy was a devoted wife and mother before embarking on her career. While raising her children she worked as a part-time school bus driver for Lamers. For many years she worked at Hickory Grove Sanitarium as a receptionist. In 1976 she then embarked on a long career with Dr. Paul Koch, founder of Green Bay Oncology, where she retired in 2007.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, summer vacations up north, playing cards, and shopping. But most of all loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Nancy conquered many challenges in her life with the love and support from her family and friends.

Nancy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and found great comfort in her faith.

Survivors include her children; Kathy (Todd) Tiesling, Sharon (Dean) Pierre, Sue (Greg) Goral, Bill Leiterman, and Jane (Keith) Piton. Her grandchildren; Nick, Derek, and Bradley Pierre, Leah (Roberto) Rodriguez, Alexa (Alec) Ingold, Jake Leiterman, Keegan Piton, and great-granddaughter Amelia "Mia" Rodriguez. She is further survived by her siblings; Donna Thyssen, Pat Vickman, Jack (Mary) Janssen, Bob (Sue) Janssen, brother-in-law Bob (Donna) Leiterman, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dave, her parents, Norbert and Alice Janssen, parents-in-law, Wilber and Viola Leiterman, sister Barb Janssen, brothers-in-law Robert Vickman and Earl Thyssen, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Friends and family may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere, WI 54115 Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A prayer service will begin immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. The service will be livestreamed with a link available at www.ryanfh.com.
