Nicole K. Heyrman became our Guardian Angel forever on Friday, April 12, 2019. Nicole passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after an eighteen-month battle with cancer. Nicole was born on October 2, 1983 in Green Bay to Jesse Hansen and Kelly (Brusky) Reider. While in college, Nicole met Andy Heyrman and they were married in a beautiful ceremony at Union Congregation Church in Green Bay on September 15, 2012.
Nicole was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important. She was an amazing wife and dedicated mother who treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She provided the perfect amount of wisdom in all situations, and her beautiful smile, charm, and wit made every person she met fall in love with her. She also sought adventure, whether that meant traveling across the world to Florence or a quick weekend trip to Door County. No matter the journey, she brought her smile and was ready to explore.
Nicole leaves behind her devoted husband Andy; her beautiful children: Harper, Henry, and George; her loving parents: Jesse Hansen and Kelly and Tom Reider; her caring siblings: Aaron Hansen and Delaney Reider; loving grandmothers: Diane Hansen and Donna Ellison; niece Madeline; aunts: Tammy, Lisa, Lisa, and Laura; uncle Brian; father & mother-in-law John and Pam Heyrman; sisters-in-law: Sarah, Emily, and Liz; her cousins; and her amazing friends Nicki, Carrie, and the Pink Patrol. She is reunited in Heaven with her grandfathers: Glenn "Bucky" Hansen and Allan Brusky; and her uncle Jay Hansen.
Nicole did not let cancer define or take over her life. She woke up each day actively choosing to live life to the fullest. She was always more concerned about others during her battle, even on her last day.
Throughout Nicole's battle with cancer there have been so many amazing people who stepped forward and helped us in every possible way. We truly appreciate everyone's support, love, and compassion especially Josh and Brian, Nicole's UHC crew, The ICU staff at Bellin, The Bellin Cancer Team, Dr. Jazayeri, Dr. Foster, Dr. de Villa, Dr. Pan, Dr. Eckardt, the staff at Unity Hospice, Michelle, Kristi and everyone too numerous to name; you gave us your all and we are forever grateful.
