Nora Corey, 83, of Green Bay, died Tuesday evening April 28, 2015 at a local nursing home. The daughter of the late Howard and Joan (Peters) Smith was born December 11, 1931 in Ashwaubenon. She married Eugene O. Corey on February 20, 1954 at West Moravian Church.
She worked at Bake's Jewelry in Green Bay for many years. She was very active at West Moravian Church where she was a member of the Ladies Fellowship Circle. She was a loving, devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Her family includes her husband Eugene , one brother, Clyde (Barb) Smith, one sister-in-law, Marilyn Smith, many nieces, especially Linda, nephews and godchildren, Danny, Danielle, Jenny, Peter, and Kim. She is also survived by cousins, Jimmy Jake and Mary Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and June, parents-in-law, Helen and Orson Corey, 3 brothers, Howard (Lois), Roy (Carol), and Gordon (Marilyn), and a sister Phyllis Gerrits.
Family and friends may call at West Moravian Church, Liberty at Oneida Streets, Green Bay from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Friday May 1, 2015. Funeral Service will be held at the church at 11:00 am Friday with Rev. Marian Doyle, officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at West Moravian Cemetery, Ashwaubenon.
