Nora Alene Steele was born on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 8:03 a.m. to her parents Marc and Christen Steele at Aurora Hospital. She weighed 2 pounds and was 14 inches long. Nora's family was blessed with almost an hour and a half with her, before she was called to her heavenly home. Nora spent her short life in the arms of her mommy and daddy. She was brought to heaven in the loving arms of her Grandpa Steve. The night sky was a little bit brighter on February 5th as Nora became our angel star. Nora is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy, her twin sister Iyla, her big brother Chandler, her big sisters, Ava and Maya, her grandparents, her great grandparents, her aunts and uncles, her cousin, and many others. Nora will always remain her parents' precious baby girl and our family's guardian angel. We never had the chance to play, to laugh, to rock, to wiggle. We long to hold you, touch you now, and listen to your giggle. She'll always be your mommy, and I'll always be your Dad. You will always be our child-the child we never had. But now you're gonebut yet you're here. We sense you everywhere. You are our sorrow and our joy. There's love in every tear. Just know our love goes deep and strong, that we'll forget you never, the child we had, but never had and yet will have forever. A private memorial service for Nora will be held. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Ryan's Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 12th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The family has asked that in lieu of sending flowers, to please consider making a donation to The March of Dimes in memory of Nora and in honor of her twin sister Iyla who is being taken care of in the Aurora NICU. The March of Dimes support research to help us understand and prevent premature birth and other serious problems that threaten our babies.
