Norbert G. Lebal, 87, Glenmore, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 3, 2018. Norb was born August 13, 1930 in Glenmore to the late Edward and Rose (Bittner) Lebal. On October 25, 1952 he married Suzanne Wellner. He along with his wife worked the family farm that he was born and raised on. Norb lived on the farm until he moved to De Pere in 2009. He had lived at Nicolet Highland until this past August, and greatly enjoyed his years there. In his younger years, Norb enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing. Norb and Suzanne enjoyed traveling with good friends Pat and Elaine Kane, he also found enjoyment in raising dogs, and in the last two years his cat Spike who survives him brought him companionship and happiness.
He is survived by his children; Cheryl (Gerald) Hockers, Karen Lebal, Diane Lebal, Glen (Stephanie) Lebal, as well as 5 grandchildren; Adam (Ashley) Hockers, Craig (Sara) Hockers, Brandon (Sarah) Hockers, Kevin (Allison) Hockers, Rhiannon Lebal, and great grandchildren; Phineas, Eleanor, Claire, and Elsie. Norb's brother in laws Roy Wellner, Terrance Wellner and nieces and nephews also survive him.
Norb was preceded in death by his wife Suzanne in 2011, his brother; Walter Schmidt and sister Bernette Wellner, as well as sister in law Millie Wellner and brother in law Thomas Wellner and good friends Pat and Elaine Kane.
Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere after 2:00PM Saturday January 6, 2018 until time of service at 4:00PM with Deacon Mike VanderBloomen officiating.
