Norbert F. Nackers 85 of De Pere passed away peacefully on Friday September 10, 2010. He was born October 21, 1924 in De Pere to the late John and Dora (Vander Linden) Nackers. On August 25, 1955 he married Eunice Brittnacher at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. Norb and Eunice had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Norb served his country in the U.S. Army, then the U. S. Navy, and finally the U.S. Naval Reserve. Norb served during both WWII and Korea. He retired from US Paper Mill in De Pere.
He is survived by his wife Eunice, his children; Ed (Debbie) Nackers, Joe (Debbie) Nackers, John (Kay) Nackers, Mary Nackers, Geriann (Joe) Anderley, Theresa (Troy) Munro, Anne Nackers, and Mike Nackers and his special friend Christine. Norb is further survived by his grandchildren; Robert and Josh Nackers and Nick and April Anderley. His sister Rosemary (Gerald) Racine as well as his little buddy Sam "Junior" further survive.
His parents, an infant son, his sister Dorothy(John) Zelten, his brother Edward, and brother in law Ralph Brittnacher preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive De Pere after 9am Monday September 13, 2010 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am with Fr.
