Norine "Cubby" J. Wilber, 77, Oneida, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 29, 1934, a daughter of the late Luke and Elizabeth (Smith) Stevens, Sr. She married George Vander Zanden on April 20, 1968 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1981. On June 10, 1989 she married Orlin Wilber at the Oneida Methodist Church. Norine enjoyed collecting Indian dolls and cookie jars. She also loved the outdoors, gardening, singing, and taking long rides. She was a member (saved and baptized) at Riverview Baptist Church Norine is survived by her husband Orlin Wilber; five sons: Michael (special friend Gene) Stevens, Bernie (Brenda) John-Stevens, David (Vicky) Reed-Vander Zanden, George Vander Zanden, and Alvin Stevens; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brother Luke Stevens, Jr; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, infant daughter, six brothers, and four sisters. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, Oneida Singers at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 9:00 AM until time of service at Riverview Baptist Church, 1382 Plane Site Blvd # A, De Pere.
