Obituary

Norman J. Falish 63 of Wrightstown passed away on Tuesday evening June 28, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 16, 1948 in Tonet to John and Verna (Jonet) Falish. Norm was a 1966 graduate of Green Bay East High School and served his country in the Marine Corp. from 1966 to 1970. On June 2, 1978 he married Carla Petersen. Norm retired from Neenah Paper in 2009. He was an avid hunter and sports enthusiast. Norm especially enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Carla, his children; Shannon (Brian) Gerrits, Eau Claire and their children Ian and Hailey, Carl (Jennifer) Falish, Kaukauna and their children Paige, Alecia, and Coltyn, Cory (Rebecca) Falish, Denmark and their children Lane and Hermione, Nikolas Falish, Wrigthtstown, Shane Falish, Wrightstown, and Sasha (Nickolas) Steudel, Appleton, and their children Cameron and Cooper, as well as his grandson Michael. He is further survived by his siblings; LaVerne (Dave) Charlier, Green Bay, Joseph (Mary) Falish, Suring, John (Debbie) Falish, Denmark, Shirley (Michael) Tilleman, Green Bay, Beverly (Dan) DePas, Casco, Wayne (Diane) Falish, Wrightstown, Tina (Bruce) Mattern, Green Bay, Gail (Dave) Smith, Green Bay, and Marvin (Jeanne) Falish, Green Bay. Norm is further survived by his Father and Mother in law; Carl and Ila Petersen, and his sister in law Sharon Petersen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Crystal Peterson. Friends may call Thursday, June 30, 2011 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Visitation will continue after 9am Friday (TODAY) at St. Clare Catholic Church in Greenleaf, until a Liturgy of The Word Service at 11am with Deacon Ken Kabat officiating.
