Obituary

Osman Ernesto Montenegro Jr, 32, resident of Ashwaubenon, WI, passed away on October 6, 2020. He was born on January 2, 1988 to the Elvia Castellanos, Coral Springs, Florida, and Osman E. Montenegro Sr. in Danli, Honduras. He married Elizabeth Montenegro on June 29, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Green Bay, WI. They had three wonderful children together. He recently started working at Performance Fire Stop. Ernesto loved being outdoors and was an avid fisher. He also enjoyed hunting, kayaking, and riding his motorcycle. Anyone who knew Ernesto knew how much he loved music and was always dancing. His loyalty and love for his family and friends will forever leave an impact in our hearts. He was a great father, husband, son, and friend who will be greatly missed. Ernesto had such a big heart and was always willing to help anyone he could. In keeping with Ernesto's loving and generous spirt, it was his decision to give the most precious gift anyone can give; the gift to save lives. He was able to donate his heart and other organs so others were given the chance to enjoy life just as much as he did. He is survived by his devoted wife Elizabeth Montenegro, his children, Alan, Ethan, Aurora, and Isaac. He is also survived by his parents Elvia Castellanos and Osman E Montenegro Sr., siblings, Dulce Walkiria Montenegro and Angelo Munguia, mother-in-law Carol Koski, sisters-in-law Cassandra Moreland and Amanda Koski, brother-in-law Michael Moreland, and numerous nieces, his nephew and friends. Ernesto is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Aurora Zavala and Fransico Castellanos, paternal grandparents Ernesto Montenegro and Deisy Zelaya. He is also preceded by his cousin Mario Alanize, his aunts Consepcion, Benordina, and Gloria Zavala, Eva Odina Castellanos and Martha Fecician Castellanos, his uncle Moises Secicio Zavala, his wife's grandparents, Ilene Koebach and Richard Koebach and his wife's aunt, Leah Straschewski. Family and friends may call from 4:00 P.M – 7:00 P.M. on October 11 at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere. The service will be streaming live on Ryan Funeral Home Facebook page starting at 7:00pm. Burial will take place on October 12, 2020 at 2:30 at Allouez Catholic Cemetery in Green Bay. At the cemetery, we ask that those in attendance maintain social distancing guidelines and that only 20 people are allowed to be by the casket at one time. We are asking for people to rotate in order to have everyone view Ernesto at the cemetery.
