Pat Ann
Pelishek
April 19, 1943 — June 28, 2026
Patricia "Pat" Ann Pelishek, 83, of De Pere, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026. She was born on April 16, 1943, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to the late Stanley and Mathilda Kowalczyk. She graduated from Lena High School in 1961 and carried with her throughout her life a strong Catholic faith that guided her with compassion, generosity, and grace.
On September 3, 1966, Pat married the love of her life, Allen. Together they built a loving and welcoming home, and shared nearly 60 years of marriage. Nothing in Pat's life brought her greater joy than her family, and together she and Allen had a daughter Carrie and two grandchildren that she loved very much.
Pat had a gift for making all those around her feel loved, whether it was gently rubbing or scratching your back while you sat beside her or giving the simple comfort of her presence. She was also known for her love of cozy pajamas—she had quite the collection and delighted in giving them as gifts to family and friends. One of her favorite traditions was "Widows Weekend," the special time she spent with the women in her family during deer hunting season, creating cherished memories filled with laughter, stories, and togetherness.
Pat was the proud owner and operator of Pat's Beauty Salon, where she spent many years serving her clients. More than a hairstylist, she was a trusted friend and compassionate listener who built lifelong relationships with the people who sat in her chair.
Pat is lovingly survived by her daughter, Carrie Scheffen; her grandchildren, Allena (Brock) Maroszek and Trevor Scheffen; her sister, Joanne Skarda; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen Pelishek; her parents, Stanley and Mathilda Kowalczyk; her brother, Jack Kowalczyk; sister-in-law Marion Kowalczyk; and her brother-in-law, Bob Skarda.
Family and friends may call to St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, De Pere, WI 54115, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she is reunited with the love of her life and resting peacefully in God's embrace. We love you more than tongue can tell, and we will carry your love and memory with us always. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their prayers, love, and support during this time.
