Patricia Bani Bacon, 82, De Pere passed away surrounded by love on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 after a memorable and comforting stay at Woodside Lutheran Home. She was born March 20, 1930 in Green Bay to the late Charles and Leona (Borths) Seroogy. On June 17, 1974 she was united in marriage to John "Red" Bacon. Red preceded her in death on December 11, 2008. Pat devoted her entire life to raising her nine children.
Survivors include her children; Joanne (Robert) Strenn, Mavis (Leigh) Pickl, Patricia (Dan) Miller, Jeffrey (Cyndy) Bani, Randall (Kim) Bani, Keith (Sandra) Bani, Kevin (Patti) Bani, Lisa (Jim) Michiels, Julie (Bob) Hussin. Pat's 30 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren also survive. She is further survived by one sister Mavis Desotelle, Red's family: Florence (Ambrose) Manders, Carol (Bernie) Marcinkowski, Marilyn Vanden Berg, Dan (Pat) Bacon, Bonnie Bacon, and Butch (Verna) Zelten, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, granddaughter Shannon Krystof, two brothers; Roy (Clara) and Gerald (Eleanor) Seroogy, and one sister Lorraine (Cletus) Selissen, brother-in-law Dick Desotelle, sisters-in-law Helen (Norbert) Peters, June Zelten, brothers-in-law Don Vanden Berg, and Elwood Bacon.
Family and friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Woodside Lutheran Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Apfel.
