Patricia A. Limberg, 73, De Pere, died Thursday, February 18, 2016. She was born June 30, 1942in Menominee, MI, a daughter of the late Burke and Bernice (Smith) Cooney. On August 17, 1962 she married Wayne E. Limberg in Marinette, WI. Patricia was a true Wisconsin sports fan; rooting for the Packers especially but also the Brewers, Bucks, or Badgers. She was such a positive person and always in a good mood. Her collection of elephants was a treasure to her. Patricia's greatest joy and treasure was her grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her son Steve (Virginia) of Mitchell, South Dakota; her three grandchildren: Calvin, Jedidiah, and Tess; her two brothers Dennis (Barb) Cooney and Burke (Doris) Cooney; her sister MaryLee (Peter) Niewiadowski; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne; son Scott; parents Burke and Bernice; brother Ron (Nancy Cooney; and her sister Darlene Cooney. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 to 1:30 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. A service will follow at 1:30 at the funeral home.
