Patricia "Patty" Jean Hill. 66, of Oneida passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning November 22, 2013. Patty was born on March 10, 1947 to Blanche Hill and the late Deacon Edmund Powless. Patty was a graduate of Green Bay West High School and Haskell University. She had been employed for over 20 years with the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin. Patty was a lifelong member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church , where she was one of the organists. She married Benjamin E. Miskin and they were married for 20 years. Patty then married Cornelius "Corey" Hill, and he preceded her in death in 2012. She enjoyed Bingo, Fishing, and spending time with family. Patty is survived by her son Joseph Michael Miskin and his special friend Amy Kakwitch, her mother Blanche Powless, as well as her siblings; Sister Theresa Rose, Kathy Hughes, Dottie (Doug) Krull, and Barb (Rick) Dickson. Also surviving her are her four aunts, Leatrice Powless, Lucille Powless, Mary Hill, and Vivian Williams, as well as her first husband Benjamin E. Miskin, her cat Kitty, and numerous relatives and friends. Patty was preceded in death by her husband Cornelius Hill, her Father Deacon Edmund Powless, maternal grandparents, Dennison & Sadie Hill, and paternal grandparent, Benjamin & Philomene Powless.
Friends may call at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Oneida after 9am Tuesday November 26, 2013, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr.
